A Behavioral Health psychiatrist is able to utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills, while working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. This provider will build rapport and prescribe medications, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. This position requires a high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
MD degree with Board Certification or Board Eligibility in psychiatry.
ABPP certification preferred, though not required.
Child/adolescent certification preferred, though not required.
Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
Compensation $337,000 for a 1.0 FTE. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
