The technologist must demonstrate competency in operating all assigned radiographic equipment, producing diagnostic radiographs according to standards, and performing basic patient care protocols under radiologist direction. They are also responsible for applying radiation safety procedures, including the ALARA principle for ultrasound, and using independent professional judgment.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED and have satisfactorily completed an accredited Radiology Technologist program, requiring ARRT certification and an active Florida Licensed Radiology Technologist status. A CPR Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment, and new employees must commit to a two-year term to qualify for the sign-on bonus.
Xray Sign on bonus will be paid in full after passing probationary period.A Two (2) year commitment is required. NEW EMPLOYEES ONLY.
