The role ensures high-quality social work services are provided, supporting healthcare and coordinating the psychosocial needs of patients and families. Responsibilities include completing comprehensive psychosocial assessments, assisting families with coping mechanisms, and coordinating discharge and ongoing medical care plans.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Social Work and have three years of postgraduate social work experience, preferably in a medical setting or working with children and families. Applicants must be eligible for and obtain a Georgia Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification within 90 days of employment.
