The wound care nurse will assess and evaluate patients with various wounds and injuries to ensure optimal care delivery. They are also responsible for providing preventative care to avoid infections and complications while coordinating with other health professionals.
The preferred candidate is a Registered Nurse (RN), though Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) with relevant experience are encouraged to apply. Expertise in caring for chronic and acute wounds within a geriatric population is required.

NHC Lewisburg is currently looking for a Wound Care Nurse to join our team. We are a 100-bed post-acute skilled nursing facility, and we need someone who truly enjoys working with the geriatric population and has a solid background in managing both chronic and acute wounds.
While we prefer an RN for this role, we strongly encourage LPNs with significant wound care experience to apply.
