UPMC is seeking talented Echo Technologists who live in Central Pennsylvania or are interested in relocating to join our team.

You'll provide care to various hospitals across the central region, including UPMC Carlisle, Community Osteopathic, Hanover, Harrisburg, Lititz, Memorial, and West Shore.

Direct Leadership: Unlike travel agencies, we have our own leadership team that you’ll report to, ensuring any questions or concerns are addressed promptly.

Job Responsibilities: Perform Cardiac Ultrasound procedures according to guidelines established by the Medical Director, including Transthoracic Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, Stress Echocardiography, and Echo with contrast.

Accurately code and identify completed exams for electronic processing and storage.

Function independently and maintain flexibility to cover shifts, on-call responsibilities, and satellite locations when needed.

Work across multiple clinical areas, ensuring adequate staffing and supporting department needs.

Two years of experience as an Echocardiography Sonographer.

RDCS or RCS certification required.

Proficiency in performing various echocardiographic procedures, including M-Mode, 2D, Doppler, Color Flow Doppler, Transesophageal echo, and Stress echocardiography.

Ability to interact professionally with patients and team members, demonstrating empathy, respect, and clear communication.

Ability to adapt to changing work environments and maintain consistent performance in diverse clinical settings.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances

Certification in Adult, Pediatric, or Fetal echocardiography required. Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Registered Cardiac Sonographer OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal Act 33 with renewal Act 34 with renewal Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal OAPSA with renewal Ready to make a difference in healthcare while enjoying the flexibility and variety of a travel position?
