The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive respiratory care, including ventilator management, airway maintenance, and diagnostic testing. They must document patient care accurately in the EMR and adhere to all hospital infection control and safety protocols.
Candidates must be graduates of a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program and hold a current New Jersey state license. Additionally, they must pass the NBRC exam and maintain BLS certification, with ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred.
Provide respiratory care procedures per hospital policy.
