The therapist conducts group counseling sessions and provides therapeutic services for patients in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. They are responsible for assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and coordinating discharge planning with the treatment team.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field and possess a current Florida license such as LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC. At least one year of direct clinical experience in family, individual, and group therapy with psychiatric patients is required.

The IOP/PHP Treatment Coordinator is responsible for conducting therapeutic services for out-patient patients. They provide group counseling sessions. IOP/PHP Teatment Coordinators are responsible for interviewing and developing the psychological history, assessing the therapeutic needs of the individual and family, developing appropriate treatment objectives and treatment summaries. PHP/IOP Treatment Coordinators act as the patients' and families' primary contact while the patient is participating in an put-patient program, as well as their advocate with the treatment team. Treatment Coordinators are also liaisons with outside agencies and individuals for the purpose of developing and coordinating discharge planning with the treatment team and family. Job Duties/Responsibilities Conducting therapeutic services for Partial Hospitalization/Intensive OutPatient Program patients and Telehealth Counseling; Provide group counseling sessions; Conducting assessments of newly admitted patients; Developing an updated, or detailed re-assessment of the patient; Providing support and advocacy Coordination/liaison with community-based social and mental health agency(ies) regarding the pre-admission status of the patient Member of the treatment team in development of treatment planning and subsequent planned interventions.
