About the role

Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy sessions along with clinical assessments and safety planning. Manage patient care through treatment planning, case management, and appropriate referrals.

Rome Health is seeking a Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Mental Health Counselor to work within the hospital.

The job duties for the SOCIAL WORKER - LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC will include

  • Providing individual, group and/or family sessions, Providing psychotherapy, intake screenings and clinical assessments Safety planning and providing treatment recommendations Assisting patients with treatment planning Utilizing evidenced based assessments and treatment approaches Providing case management, linkage and referrals as appropriate Experience/Education: Knowledge of Mental Health disorders, ability to create effective safety plans, complete suicidal/homicidal assessments and the ability to utilize various therapeutic interventions.
  • The ability to identify individual strengths and weaknesses and provide patient centered care.
  • Knowledge of the DSM - 5 and the ability to substantiate criteria and provide basis for SUD diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of Professional Standards/ Canon of Ethics and OASAS 822 regulations Knowledge of case management including availability of resources and referral processes.
  • Ability to know the family dynamic of the cases as needed.
  • LMSW, LCSW, OR LMHC required.

Requirements

Must hold an LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC license. Requires knowledge of mental health disorders, DSM-5 criteria, and OASAS 822 regulations.
