The Radiation Therapist administers ionizing radiation treatments to cancer patients under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist and Physicist. They are responsible for localizing treatment fields, ensuring reproducibility, and scheduling patient appointments.
Candidates must hold a technical or associate degree in radiography and be registered or registry-eligible with the ARRT. BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire, and one year of experience is preferred.
