Here’s What You Need Bachelor's Degree Completion of a Physical Therapy program is required 2 years of experience in inpatient/acute care is strongly preferred.

PT - Physical Therapist Texas Physical Therapy License Upon Hire is required And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required What You Will Do Performs age appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care Obtains/verifies physician order for therapy and validates for appropriateness Sets appropriate, measurable, functional goals with time frames to address the identified problems including patient/family goals and preferences Performs age appropriate patient treatment Communicates with physicians and other healthcare personnel as appropriate regarding patient care issues Demonstrates competence in the performance of age appropriate patient treatment and individualizes care based on age specific needs Demonstrates Professional accountability Additional perks of being a Texas Physical Therapist Benefits include 401k, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Discount Programs, as well as other benefits.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree, completion of a Physical Therapy program, and a valid Texas Physical Therapy License. BCLS certification is mandatory, and two years of inpatient or acute care experience is strongly preferred.
