The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing and preparing patients for surgery, including reviewing medical history and administering preoperative medications. They also provide immediate post-anesthesia care, monitor vital signs, and educate patients and families on recovery expectations.
Education: Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred.
Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in New York.
BLS/CPR. CNOR or CPAN certification a plus.

Pay
Range: $38.75 - $54.85 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a current New York Registered Nurse license. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Pre-Op, PACU, or surgical nursing is required, along with BLS/CPR certification.
