Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio is seeking mission-minded Associates to join us as a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Medical Assistant (Float) to serve our patients in our Eastern Ohio Region - Akron Health Center, Canton Health Center, Kent Health Center, and Youngstown Health Center. May occasionally fill in our Cleveland Region.

• Status: Bargaining Unit Position (OPEIU Local 98) SUMMARY The Medical Assistant will provide exceptional patient care, adhering to the policies of PPGOH and maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor. The Medical Assistant will provide comprehensive health education, assist in various medical procedures, and perform essential administrative tasks. Must ensure superior patient care and outstanding customer service, focusing on direct services in family planning, and, when assigned, abortion services. This position requires a strong commitment to quality healthcare, a passion for excellent customer service, and the ability to interact positively with clients both in person and over the phone. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Certification in Medical Assisting, if required by state law. Familiarity with electronic medical records and healthcare software. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Certified Medical Assistant certification required. Experience in a healthcare setting desirable. Family planning experience preferred. Qualifications
