Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio is seeking mission-minded Associates to join us as a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Medical Assistant (Float) to serve our patients in our Eastern Ohio Region - Akron Health Center, Canton Health Center, Kent Health Center, and Youngstown Health Center. May occasionally fill in our Cleveland Region.

The Medical Assistant will provide comprehensive health education, assist in various medical procedures, and perform essential administrative tasks. Must ensure superior patient care and outstanding customer service, focusing on direct services in family planning, and, when assigned, abortion services. This position requires a strong commitment to quality healthcare, a passion for excellent customer service, and the ability to interact positively with clients both in person and over the phone. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Certification in Medical Assisting, if required by state law. Familiarity with electronic medical records and healthcare software. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Certified Medical Assistant certification required. Experience in a healthcare setting desirable. Family planning experience preferred. Qualifications
