The MRI Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. They are responsible for verifying prescriptions, positioning patients, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate digital records.
This position is accountable for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures which produce high quality of diagnostic digital exams. Works on a level not requiring constant supervision while demonstrating basic MRI skills and following protocols established for a various age groups of patients. Performs a variety of general technical (IV skilled) MRI procedures that will require judgement and initiative for radiological diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated area or procedures as required.
Candidates must hold a high school diploma and have graduated from an accredited 2-year radiologic technology program. Required certifications include a Florida State License (CRT), ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registry, and Basic Life Support (BLS).
