The Phlebotomy Technician collects, accessions, and processes patient specimens while ensuring accurate identification and compliance with safety standards. They also perform waived testing, maintain laboratory equipment, and provide phlebotomy coverage for various clinical settings.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and possess a Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification or be a graduate of a NAACLS approved program. Related work experience is required, and military medical experience is considered.
