About the role

The veterinarian will perform routine wellness exams, medical procedures, and surgeries while monitoring patient health and controlled substances. They are also responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and mentoring technical support staff.

Responsibilities

Provide routine wellness exams and diagnosis Perform medical procedures such as vaccinations, dental procedures, soft tissue surgery, and necessary diagnostics Administer and accurately monitor controlled substances Maintain and complete patient records Serve as mentor to technical support staff Build and establish rapport with the client base, demonstrating exceptional bedside manner and communication

Qualifications

Requirements

Candidates must hold a DVM degree from an AVMA accredited program and possess or be eligible for a Wisconsin veterinary license. Strong surgical skills, professional communication, and a commitment to ongoing professional development are required.
