    Market context

California surgical tech roles stay competitive

In California, non-certified Surgical Technician roles are typically driven by steady operating room staffing needs, especially in hospitals and surgical centers. These openings are competitive because employers often want recent OR experience, completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician program, current BLS, and prefer national certification even for non-certified applicants. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to quickly compare fit, then highlight your recent OR experience and BLS status in your application.
