The Occupational Therapist plans, evaluates, and treats patients based on their occupational therapy needs. They also participate in established occupational therapy programs and direct support personnel within their scope of practice.
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program is required, while a Master's Degree is preferred. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in an Occupational Therapy setting and hold necessary licenses.
The Occupational Therapist plans, evaluates and treats patients related to their occupational therapy needs within a clinical (inpatient and outpatient) setting. Participates in established occupational therapy programs including patient care and education. Evaluates and treats patients and establishes treatment programs and/or implements comprehensive discharge plans. Directs support personnel within the scope of practice.
