The Oral Surgeon will diagnose, treatment plan, and perform oral surgery procedures while educating patients on care. They must collaborate with other dental professionals and ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.
Candidates must hold a DMD or DDS degree with an Oral Surgery Certificate and possess an active, unrestricted state dental license. Additional requirements include a general anesthesia permit, CPR/BLS certification, and a DEA registration.
