Under general supervision of the CT Manager, Lead CT Technologists, and the Imaging Coordinator according to established procedures, operates a CT scanner and related equipment in order to produce radiographs of any designated anatomical area. All essential functions performed in the position reflect age specific needs of the geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients. Department of five scanners both GE and Siemens Work with state-of-the-art technology including use of GE Revolution Ascend , Ulrich CT Motion Injector Teaching environment with training available for all types of cardiac imaging Team environment with support staff assisting the technologist by transporting patients and performing ancillary duties
Must hold a RI state Radiology license and CT supplemental license from the DOH. Must be registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT). Must hold a current CPR certification from AHA, BLS for Healthcare Providers. Two years of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology required, plus registration through the American Registry for Radiologic Technologists.
