Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with mental health conditions during night shifts. Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatment. Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized care plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care. Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records. Respond to crises and provide de-escalation techniques as needed. Educate patients and families about mental health resources and coping strategies. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of Georgia. Experience in psychiatric nursing or mental health settings preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate demeanor and a passion for patient advocacy. Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as required. Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment modalities. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
