A Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) provides advanced respiratory care services to patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions. As a key member of the healthcare team, the CRT works under the direction of a physician to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage respiratory disorders for patients across the lifespan, from neonates to the elderly. This role requires advanced knowledge and skills to support patients with complex respiratory needs, playing a critical part in their recovery and overall health management.
Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
/Certifications: Current CRT or RRT license in state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred.

Candidates must hold an Associate's degree in respiratory therapy and possess an active Kentucky respiratory therapist license. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP, or the ability to obtain them within 90 days of hire.
