Provide comprehensive, multi-disciplinary care to a primarily geriatric patient population in a clinic setting. Contribute to practice initiatives and collaborate with a team to improve patient health outcomes.
Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Texas and certification from AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA. A valid DEA license and the ability to work at multiple clinic locations in San Antonio are required.
Certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Current Licensure through the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners OR Licensed Physician Assistant by the Texas State Medical Board Valid DEA license or the ability to obtain one prior to employment Comfortable managing a primarily Medicare-aged patient population Ability to work at any o four clinics across the greater San Antonio area
A working understanding and support of a managed care environment Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency 1+ year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $109,500- $164,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.
