The Physical Therapist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to help them recover from injuries, manage pain, and restore mobility. They are also responsible for creating measurable functional goals, educating patients on treatment plans, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Candidates must hold a Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and possess a valid Physical Therapy license or be eligible to obtain one. A strong commitment to patient care, measurable outcomes, and collaborative teamwork is required.
Summary: Team Rehabilitation is seeking out patient-focused Physical Therapists. Primary responsibilities are evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with the ultimate goal of having patients recover from injuries, manage pain, and regain mobility. The only way to drive success is in providing exceptional physical therapy with measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care while regularly exceeding industry standards. What You’ll Do Provide excellent health care for our patients. Patients should achieve good outcomes and be happy with their experience of physical therapy. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to help them recover from injury, manage pain, and restore mobility. Understand their current medical and emotional situations and then develop plans of care. Create measurable, functional goals and adjust plans of care as patients progress. Educate patients on treatment options, home exercises, and strategies to prevent re-injury. Supervise and guide Techs during patient care setup and cleanup. Use evidence-based pain management techniques to improve function. Determine discharge timelines and provide patients with strategies for long-term success. Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharges accurately and on time. Achieve a reasonable level of productivity. This depends on the number of referrals and the type of patient presenting. However, with our normal outpatient orthopedic population, Team expects 60 treatments in a 40 hour work week from a full-time Physical Therapist. Participate in clinic research projects and protocol development. Stay current on best practices through in-house CEUs and continuing education.
