Performs comprehensive laboratory services including phlebotomy, specimen testing, and quality control. Participates in instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and research and development of new laboratory tests.
Performs all laboratory services with specific accountabilities in the following functions: phlebotomy, testing, specimen and result storage and retrieval, quality control, quality assurance, proficiency testing, instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and research and development of new instruments and tests. Participates in weekend, evening and holiday rotation.
Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science - Medical Technology or Associates of Science Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science - Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent and has successfully completed and passed the Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) Boards. ASCP (or equivalent) or eligible. 1 year experience preferred.
00pm-6:00am, weekend program differential of $10.00, plus shift differential
