The optometrist will provide medical eye care, including post-operative management, diabetic eye exams, and stable glaucoma monitoring. They will work collaboratively with a multi-specialty surgical team across several office locations.
Medical Optometrist Quantum Vision Centers – Maryville, IL Quantum Vision Centers is seeking a Medical Optometrist to join our multi-specialty ophthalmology team, primarily based in Maryville, with a rotating schedule in our Granite City, Swansea, Belleville and Godfrey offices.
This is a highly medical role (approximately 85%), focused on post-operative care, diabetic management, stable glaucoma, and co-management alongside our surgical team.
Some routine care included, but the position is predominantly medical.
Practice Highlights: 9 MDs & 4 ODs across multiple locations Subspecialties: Retina, Cornea, Cataract, Oculoplastics Fully equipped medical offices (Visual Fields, Optos, Fundus Photography etc....) Strong surgical referral base Tech support provided; scribe support as volume builds Schedule: Monday–Friday Rotating Saturdays (1 per month, half day) Residency training preferred; must be comfortable managing stable glaucoma.
