The Student Nurse Aide provides personal care to residents, including grooming, bathing, and assistance with ambulation and transfers. They also support nursing staff by managing non-nursing tasks such as organizing supplies and answering call lights.

Provide personal care to residents (e.g., grooming, bathing, peri care, dressing) under supervision and within the scope of your training.
Change bed linens and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident rooms.
Assist with ambulation and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
Routinely reposition residents and monitor skin integrity.
Support nursing staff by completing non-nursing tasks such as making beds, passing water/ice, answering call lights, and organizing supplies.
Assist with range of motion exercises and engage in reality orientation with residents.
Identify and report any condition that requires management attention.
