The Medication Aide administers prescribed medications and treatments while observing residents for any adverse effects. They also provide support with activities of daily living and maintain accurate medication administration records.
Candidates must have completed state-required medication assistance training and maintain current certification. A high school diploma or GED is required, and prior direct care experience is preferred.
