The specialist will manage a caseload, conduct comprehensive assessments, and develop treatment plans while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. They will also act as a liaison with stakeholders, provide crisis support, and maintain accurate documentation of services provided to children and families.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least three years of relevant experience, or seven years of experience without the degree. Fluency in English and Spanish is required, along with the ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.

Demonstrate mastery of comprehensive safety, resiliency, and mental health assessment. Demonstrate the ability to: A. Utilize independent judgment and discretion to respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics. B. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English and Spanish. C.Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers, and professionals. D. Provide crisis intervention according to training provided by Compass Connections when needed to maintain a safe environment. E. Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times. F. Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position. G. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures.
