The role involves providing companionship through conversation, hobbies, and outings to combat loneliness, while also managing essential home life tasks like preparing simple meals and performing light housekeeping. Responsibilities also include reminding clients about medications and providing transportation for appointments and social events.
Prior experience as a Companion, Caregiver, or HHA is preferred, though caring individuals new to the field are welcome to apply. Candidates must possess First Aid & CPR certification, reliable transportation with a valid driver's license, and demonstrate a warm communication style, patience, and respect for client dignity.
