The primary role is to utilize professional nursing knowledge and skills to provide nursing care according to established standards under the direction of the Director of Nursing. This includes ensuring the safe implementation of basic preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing care for assigned residents.
Candidates must possess an educational nursing degree from an accredited school and hold an active South Carolina nursing license, along with current CPR and First Aid certifications. Essential requirements include maintaining resident confidentiality, handling body fluids, demonstrating effective communication skills, and possessing the physical capacity to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
