The Licensed Vocational Nurse will lead the patient intake process, capture vital signs, and manage health histories for patients of all ages. They will also coordinate preventive care, manage clinical communications, and provide wellness education to support patient treatment plans.
Candidates must hold a current LPN/LVN license or permit in Texas and possess a BLS certification. A high school diploma or one year of relevant experience is required for this role.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Lead the patient intake process by capturing vital signs and health histories, setting the tone for a welcoming and efficient clinical visit for patients of all ages. Coordinate preventive care and screenings to help families stay ahead of chronic conditions through proactive health monitoring and routine immunizations. Facilitate seamless clinical communication by managing patient inquiries, laboratory results, and pharmacy requests to ensure continuity of care between visits. Empower patients through wellness education, translating complex treatment plans into actionable steps for disease management and holistic healthy living.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program permit (GVN) obtained prior to start date or job transfer date is required-OR-Temporary or Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license to practice in the state of Texas is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date-OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
