The physician will provide clinical care and on-call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include performing deliveries, C-sections, and managing various gynecological procedures.
Provide 24-hour call coverage for OB/GYN emergencies and deliveries Perform C-sections, vaginal deliveries, suction D&C, ectopic pregnancy management, ovarian torsion surgery, and treatment of abnormal bleeding Manage clinic patients on designated non-call days (approximately 20 patients per day) Collaborate with OBHG hospitalist and MFM for high-risk cases Maintain thorough documentation in EPIC and adhere to hospital protocols
Candidates must hold an active Virginia medical license, be Board Certified in OB/GYN, and possess current BLS, DEA, and CSR certifications. A clean professional record and a clear NPDB report are required for this role.
