The Medical Assistant is responsible for performing clinical duties such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and collecting specimens. They also support administrative tasks and maintain examination rooms to ensure high-quality patient care.
Candidates must be able to communicate effectively and possess strong analytical thinking skills to coordinate work within schedule constraints. Proficiency in EPIC software is required, and the individual must meet all training and competency standards.
Under direct supervision, responsible for general clinical duties such as taking vital signs, giving injections, performing simple diagnostic tests, collecting specimens, sterilizing and cleaning equipment, and maintaining examination rooms at an outpatient care site. May perform some administrative duties and support the documentation of patient records as dictated by the physician or provider.
