How you’ll contribute
A Hyperbaric Technician who excels in this role
Completes all required documentation in EMR.
Communicates patient information to the nursing staff and physician in charge of the center.
Assists in patient preparation for treatment.
Monitors patient condition continually during treatments and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
Reinforces education as it relates to hyperbaric therapy.
Keeps complete and accurate patient records as they pertain to treatment documentation.
Performs duties and procedures as directed by Program Director, Medical Director, and/or Clinical Nurse Manager Coordinator.
Performs hyperbaric chamber operations and system maintenance as required.
Maintains competencies, continuing education and certifications as appropriate.
Make appropriate entries for daily hyperbaric treatments and wound care clinic visits including photo uploading.
Lift patient or transfer patients.
Performs daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual checks of the hyperbaric chamber.
Maintain clean environment in HBO chamber suite.

What we’re looking for
- Must be actively certified or licensed in one of the following vocations to meet the minimum education and experience requirements.
- LPN
- RN
Education
High School graduate or equivalent. Must have completed a National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology approved hyperbaric medicine introductory course
