The Medical Assistant assists clinicians with direct patient care, including performing screenings, phlebotomy, and minor procedures. They are also responsible for maintaining clinical documentation, managing patient flow, and ensuring a clean, safe environment in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program. A current BLS certification is required, and Medical Assistant certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
