As a Medical Technologist in our Laboratory Department, you will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic tests, analyzing biological specimens, and ensuring accurate and timely results. Your expertise will support our medical team in diagnosing and treating patients, contributing directly to their health outcomes.
Conduct a variety of laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other bodily fluids using established procedures and equipment.
Ensure the accuracy of test results by performing quality control checks and maintaining equipment.
Analyze test results, interpret findings, and communicate critical values to physicians and healthcare providers
Record and document test results and maintain accurate laboratory records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Prepare, handle, and process samples according to established protocols to prevent contamination and ensure reliability.
Follow all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment and adhere to infection control practices.
Work Schedule: Needed for night shifts; Weekend
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field and possess an active Florida Medical Technologist License. Previous clinical laboratory experience is preferred, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work night and weekend shifts.
