The Speech-Language Pathologist will conduct bedside evaluations in acute care and perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies in an outpatient setting. They are responsible for developing individualized treatment plans and coordinating care within an interdisciplinary team.
Candidates must hold a current ASHA certification and a Montana Speech-Language Pathology license. A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.
Current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Current Montana Speech-Language Pathology license, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers (AED) required, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire Two or more years of experience in a relevant clinical setting preferred Reliable internet connection for daily documentation and communication Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record, if applicable to the role Personal vehicle meeting state liability insurance requirements for business use Strong organizational, critical thinking, and teamwork skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software systems Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and social needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices Conduct Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) Deliver speech-language pathology services consistent with licensure and current best practices Communicate and coordinate therapy services effectively within the interdisciplinary care team Provide treatment in accordance with departmental standards, policies, and protocols Complete patient admissions, discharge summaries, and daily progress notes Establish measurable patient goals and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessments Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements Participate in department and community-based initiatives that support rehabilitation services Meet productivity expectations and maintain equipment appropriately Uphold professional standards in Speech-Language Pathology and carry out provider orders Respect and support patient diversity, privacy, and confidentiality Notify the care team of significant changes in patient condition Maintain consistent and reliable attendance as scheduled If you are a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients, we encourage you to apply today and join the exceptional team at Logan Health.
