About the role

The dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis and treatment of various dental conditions for patients of all ages. They will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to address total-body health and educate patients on oral hygiene.

HealthPartners is looking for a General Dentist to join our Dental Services team. Being a part of our team means you will have an impact on the care that our patients receive every day.

Highlights/Responsibilities of this role include

  • Clinical Care
  • Provide comprehensive dental care focused on the dental and health needs of patients from children through adults
  • Diagnose and treat dental conditions including cavities, gum disease and malocclusions
  • Perform preventive, restorative and emergency dental procedures
  • Conduct restorative procedures including fillings, crowns, and other dental work.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care
  • Collaboration & Professional Practice
  • Partner with medical care providers throughout the multidisciplinary HealthPartners system to address total‑body inflammation connected to oral health conditions.
  • Collaborate with general dentists, hygienists, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and other healthcare providers.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and treatment planning

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • MN Dental licensure and DEA registration
