Key responsibilities include administering contrast, performing proper patient positioning and radiographic techniques during interventional procedures, and documenting patient information in the electronic medical record. The technologist must also maintain a sterile environment and assist with general radiographic procedures as needed.
Candidates must be a graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology and must be ARRT certified as a Radiologic Technologist. A requirement for CPR or BLS certification, adhering to AHA standards including a skills demonstration, must be met within 30 days of hire.
Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology.
ARRT certified as a Radiologic Technologist is required. CPR or BLS Required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire. ARRT Certificate Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Act 34
