Market context
Internal medicine physicians are consistently needed across North Carolina in outpatient clinics, primary care groups, and health systems, especially where adult primary care access is tight. These roles are competitive because employers often want an MD or DO, an active North Carolina medical license, board certification or eligibility, and familiarity with eClinicalWorks; benefits like sign-on bonuses, paid time off, and dental and vision coverage can also matter.
