The X-Ray Technologist prepares patients for radiologic procedures and operates radiographic equipment to perform diagnostic radiographs. They are also responsible for maintaining patient records, ensuring equipment safety, and implementing infection control protocols.
Candidates must hold an associate degree in radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology. Current CPR/BLS certification and experience with C-Arm equipment are required.
