Provide skilled physical therapy to patients with various diagnoses and disabilities under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Utilize professional consultations and treatment skills to help patients achieve maximum functional independence.
Requires a degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and an Oregon Physical Therapy Assistant license. Candidates must also possess a current American Heart Association BLS certification.
What you will be doing: Physical Therapy Assistant PTA Under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, provide skilled physical therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities. Take into account individual patient's special physical or age-related needs. Utilize skills in patient/client treatment and professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with the individual's functional level and potential. Experience you will need: Physical Therapy Assistant P.T.A. Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program. May require specialized physical therapist assistant training to meet a particular department need or equivalent education/experience. Oregon Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire.
