The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering direct patient care, conducting assessments, and developing care plans in an outpatient setting. They will also assist in procedures, educate patients and families, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high nursing standards.

Job Summary

Summary Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment. Does this position require Patient Care? Yes Essential Functions Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.

Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.

Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.

Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications: Education Associate's degree Nursing required and bachelor's degree Nursing preferred

Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No

Licenses and Credentials Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required BLS required, ACLS Preferred

Experience Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required, and Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred

  • Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
