The Hospice Home Health Aide provides personal care and related services to hospice patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist. They are responsible for maintaining accurate clinical records, monitoring patient status, and assisting with daily living activities to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Candidates must hold a CNA certification or have completed the first semester of nursing school. A high school diploma or GED and proof of auto insurance are also required for this role.
The Hospice Home Health Aide is a certified nursing assistant. Under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse or therapist, provides personal care and related services for the hospice patient in order to augment care provided by the family and other caregivers and to maintain a clean and safe environment. Hours may vary depending upon census and program need.
