Performs electrocardiograms, Holter, and Event/MCT monitoring for patients while managing data entry into web-based systems. Conducts cardiac stress testing for Echo and Nuclear Labs and provides patient instructions for monitoring equipment.
Performs electrocardiograms studies on outpatients and inpatients. Prepares patients for continuous Holter and Event/MCT monitoring. Collect and enter appropriate data accordingly for enrolling patients in online web based system for Holter/Event/MCT devices. Assign ECG/Holter/Event monitor studies through Epiphany Cardio Server System. Provide patient instruction related to Holter monitor and Event/MCT set-up. Prepares patient for/and performs cardiac stress testing for Echo and Nuclear Labs. Performs direct and non-direct patient care duties and technical tasks as assigned.
Experience: Minimum 0-6 months ECG experience
High School/GED.
Graduate of approved allied health program preferred or completion of Patient Care or Multi-skilled Tech certification program also preferred.
License and Credentials
Required: CPR/BLS certification
Required: Recognition of cardiac arrhythmias
HOURS: FT 80 hours per pay period
The minimum starting rate for this position is $16.50
