The Surgical Technologist provides direct assistance during surgical procedures by preparing sterile fields, handing instruments, and anticipating surgeon needs. They are also responsible for cleaning instruments and the operating room post-operation while maintaining strict sterile protocols.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Surgical Tech program or possess at least one year of relevant experience. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and certification as a Scrub Technician is preferred.
