The Prescription Coordinator manages medication refills, prior authorizations, and 340B program compliance to ensure patient access to affordable care. They also collaborate with healthcare providers to address medication shortages and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical records system.
Candidates must have completed an ASHP-approved pharmacy technician vocational course and possess at least one year of experience in a pharmacy setting. A current Licensed Pharmacy Technician certification in the state of Illinois is required.

As a Prescription Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients have timely and affordable access to medications and durable medical equipment (DME). By coordinating medication refills, obtaining prior authorizations, and supporting the 340B drug pricing program, you will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes in a dynamic, team-based environment.

Pay Transparency: The salary range for this position is $48,000 – $60,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity, and organizational needs.
