The Mental Health Therapist provides comprehensive psychological assessments, crisis intervention, and psychotherapy to individuals in a 24/7 facility. They are responsible for developing treatment plans, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field. A current license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Colorado is required, along with at least one year of experience working with populations with severe and persistent mental illness.
Mental Health Therapist provide comprehensive psychological and behavioral case management services within a continuum of high to low intensity services designed to improve or maintain each mental health consumer’s abilities to function in the community. Assesses, monitors, and follows up with consumer’s ability to meet basic needs in moving toward recovery. Responsible for all clinical documentation of consumer interaction. Team Specific Information: The Solutions Center is a 24/7 crisis facility serving those in the community that come into contact with first responders. The clinician provides direct mental health clinical assessments and treatment to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The clinician works with others in a clinical team environment to help individuals move toward recovery. Offers will not exceed this range, the majority of candidates are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications. Job Duties & Functions: Provide diagnostic mental health assessments as well as individual, couple, and/or group psychotherapy. Develop treatment plans; monitor treatment progress and follow-up as clinically indicated. Facilitate the individual's growth and development with an emphasis on strengths, culture, resiliency, and wellbeing. Collaborate with internal and external partners to support the growth and development of those we serve. Facilitate the coordination of services for individuals with supplemental needs in psychiatric, case management, and medical domains. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation consistent with WellPower standards. Participate in team/department meetings, trainings, and supervisory sessions as required. Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements & Qualifications: Education: Master's Degree in social work, psychology, or similar field. Current license as a LCSW/LPC/LMFT in the State of Colorado or ability to obtain within 24 months of employment.
