The specialist is responsible for obtaining informed consent from expectant mothers and conducting donor risk assessment interviews. They must also aseptically acquire birth tissues according to established protocols and regulatory standards.
Candidates should have healthcare or medical training, such as an RN, Paramedic, EMT, or CST license, and six months to one year of related experience. A valid Nevada driver's license and a personal cell phone are required for the role.
Education: Healthcare/medical training or certificate (preferred); relevant work experience may be substituted for academic requirements Experience: Six months to one year healthcare related experience (preferred) Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, knowledge of MS office programs. Proficient use of a Computer, Photocopier, and telephone. Certificates & Licenses: RN, Paramedic/EMT, CST licenses considered. Must have a valid Nevada driver’s license. Other Requirements: Knowledge of basic aseptic technique, universal precautions, medical terminology preferred. Required to have a personal cell phone. Travel by personal or company auto is required to meet all the duties and responsibilities of the position.
