The Medical Assistant assists in the examination and treatment of patients by obtaining vital signs, collecting blood samples, and documenting information in charts. They also coordinate patient flow, manage appointments, and triage phone calls under the direction of a physician.
Candidates must have completed a medical assistant program or possess one year of clinical experience. A high school diploma or equivalent and a BLS certification are required.
